NAGA CITY, Philippines. Kristine Gaya Rebagay, Chief Operating Officer of Digital Minds BPO, delivered the acknowledgement and introduced the speakers on the opening day of the Bicol AI Summit on October 27, 2026. She took the stage as Secretary of the Rotary Club of Naga.
The inaugural summit, organized by AI NEXT PH, ran on October 27 and 28 at Lendes Convention Hall. Business leaders, startup founders, academics, technology providers, and public officials came together to work out how AI tools can serve everyday needs in their own sectors.
Eight Sector Tracks Over Two Days
The program was built around eight pathways: startups, agriculture, local government units, MSMEs, banking and finance, academe, utilities, and corporate enterprises.
Day 2 featured keynote presentations from HP Philippines. Leaders from the legal sector, the Chamber of Commerce, academia, and the local government then sat down for roundtable discussions. Participants closed the program in design-thinking breakout tracks, turning the ideas from the sessions into frameworks they can put to work in their own organizations.
Mayor Leni Robredo Joins the Summit
Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo, the former Vice President of the Philippines, attended the summit and met with Kristine and fellow organizers at the venue.

Will the Summit Return?
Yes. AI NEXT PH closed the event by announcing that the summit will come back next year as a regular regional platform.
